Daniel Nicholls
Daniel is originally from New Zealand and graduated from Auckland University with a BA in Sociology. With over a decade in Japan, Daniel brings management experience from two search firms prior to Beaumont and is an accomplished speaker of Japanese. Daniel focuses his search activity on management roles across multiple disciplines including sales and backoffice. He works across sectors but has a strong network and experience in technology, real estate, and retail & consumer markets.
Outside of the office Daniel enjoys cooking, international politics and snowboarding.

George Johnson
George focuses on executive level searches primarily in revenue generating positions in the high-tech sector. He has represented a broad number of leading US and European based companies. Originally from London, George has a BA(MA) Hons in Modern History from Balliol College, Oxford University. He first came to Asia in 1997 and has lived in Tokyo since 2002. He has worked in executive search since 1998, firstly with a publically listed pan-European business and latterly with a Tokyo based firm, where he managed the high-tech practice.
Outside of work, George is an enthusiastic golfer.

Takara Osano
Takara spent 6 years in the US and graduated from college in Ohio. Upon his return to Japan, he started his career with a large German / Japanese auto parts manufacturing joint venture in Tokyo. He has a range of industry experience including, auto parts, aerospace & defense as well as networking & infrastructure. He has enjoyed success in both domestic and international sales / business development roles. In the last few years Takara has focused on mid to senior level searches within the sales and commercial functions of foreign capitalized companies in the Industrial sector.

Jonathan Falconer
Jonathan is South African and attended Rhodes University, graduating with a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology. He has spent a decade in Asia - firstly in Taiwan and then Tokyo where he began his career in executive search in 2001. Prior to establishing Beaumont he was a partner in a global search firm where he managed their Industrial Practice. Jonathan focuses on senior management assignments for foreign affiliated companies within the Industrial Sector (factory automation, energy, utilities & cleantech, electronics manufacturing). He fulfills regional, country representative and technical sales leadership roles. He mainly works with American and European SMEs but also some larger multinationals.

Jason Rucker
Jason was born in Los Angeles but grew up in London. He has degrees in Philosophy and Philosophy of Science. He began working in Executive search in Silicon valley in the mid-90's. He has been living in Japan since 2003 and remains focused in the software business after 12 years. His focus is at the top of the software stack and particularly on any form of disruptive technology.

Chris Tan
Chris is originally from Perth, Western Australia where he graduated with an Honours Degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Western Australia. He also completed post graduate studies in PR and Communication from Edith Cowan University. Prior to his recruiting experience, Chris worked as a scientist in an Australian hospital before moving to a pharmacovigilence role in a leading Japanese Pharmaceutical company in Tokyo. Chris subsequently lead the healthcare practice at a large global recruitment firm in Japan before joining Beaumont to develop our Healthcare and Lifesciences practice. He primarily focuses on mid-career to executive level roles in marketing, business development and clinical development.

Sachiko Ikeda
Sachiko manages the support and administration function, including all vendor management for Beaumont's Tokyo office. After completing her liberal arts degree in the US, Sachiko returned to Tokyo to join a major Japanese office automation manufacturer. She also brings experience from time in a foreign software company and IT services company focusing on the banking sector.

Chiaki Kumagai
Chiaki is responsible for project support and manages the research function at Beaumont. Having studied and worked in both Canada and the UK she is a fluent English speaker. Before joining Beaumont she worked in marketing and PR for a leading investment bank in London and Tokyo.
